ZoomInfo OperationsOS is a Lifesaver!

Compared to Apollo.io, ZoomInfo's OperationsOS is just so much more robust for keeping our data clean. It's truly amazing for streamlining our workflow, though I do wish their cancellation process was a little clearer. Still, will totally recommend to all my friends in ops!

Decent data, some setup quirks

I purchased the Sales Intelligence platform for my team last month. The ordering process was handled through a sales rep, which was straightforward enough, though it took a few calls to finalize the custom package we needed. Delivery of access credentials was quick once the contract was signed. The quality of the Contact Database is generally good; I found about 85% accuracy on direct dials, which is pretty standard for B2B data. Usability of the B2B Search Engine is intuitive, but integrating it with our CRM (HubSpot, in this case) had a few hiccups. Their support team was responsive, but troubleshooting took a couple of days to resolve fully. Overall, it's a solid tool, but expect to spend some time on the initial setup and data cleansing.

Reliable as always

We've been using ZoomInfo for about three years now, mostly for the Company Database and Intent Data. This latest renewal was as smooth as the previous ones. The account manager we've had for a while now makes the process pretty seamless. The data consistency has always been a key reason we stick with them; we rarely see major drops in quality or coverage. We briefly looked at a competitor, Apollo.io, last year but decided to stay because ZoomInfo's integration with our existing sales tech stack is just more robust. It's a dependable service for our outbound efforts.

Good value for a startup

As a first-time buyer, I was looking for the best deal for our small startup. I reached out about their startup program discount and got a pretty good offer on the Sales Intelligence package. The cost was still significant, but the features included made it feel like a worthwhile investment. The Lead Scoring and Buyer Intent Signals seemed like they'd give us a real edge. So far, the value for money seems decent, especially considering the initial discount I received. It felt like I got a good amount of tools for what we paid.

Got the job done

I used their Lead Enrichment service for a project last week. It was pretty easy to get started. The data came back fairly quickly and most of it was what I was looking for. No big complaints, it just worked like it should. Saved me some time, which is always good.

Anyone know how good their data actually is? Like, are the emails and phone numbers generally up-to-date?

P Priya Foster 1 month ago
Better than most, honestly. You still get some duds but way less than other platforms I've tried. Their phone numbers are usually gold.

R Renee F. 1 month ago
I'd say it's pretty accurate. They use a bunch of methods to get and verify data, so it's usually reliable. Not 100% perfect, but close.

I'm thinking about annual billing to save some cash. Does ZoomInfo actually give a decent discount if you pay upfront for the year?

B Beth Torres 2 months ago
Absolutely. That's how I got my best deal. Annual payment is where the real savings are, just talk to their sales.

D Daisy H. 1 month ago
Yeah, they push for annual subscriptions pretty hard. You usually get a pretty good percentage off compared to trying to do monthly, but they don't really do monthly for most plans anyway.

Hey guys, thinking about getting ZoomInfo. Anyone know if they ever have promo codes or anything like that for a better deal?

A Alex 2 months ago
Nah, never seen 'em. Your best bet is usually talking to a sales rep. That's how I got some free credits when I signed up.

They don't do traditional codes. I think they do give discounts for like annual plans or if you're a startup though.

Does ZoomInfo offer any kind of free trial or a way to test it out before committing to a full subscription?

C Colin Foster 2 months ago
Yeah, they definitely offer a free trial. I got one before I decided to buy. Just gotta request a demo.

They don't have a 'free version' like some tools, but you can usually get a free trial if you ask their sales team. Sometimes they give free credits too.

Heard about ZoomInfo for startups. Is that a real thing or just marketing fluff? I'm trying to launch a new SaaS.

N Noor Ito 2 months ago
It's real! My buddy got a discount through their startup program. Definitely worth checking out.

Yup, they have specific programs for startups. You'd probably need to apply or talk to their sales about it to see if you qualify.
